About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our dynamic product team in building a robust and scalable grocery delivery app. You’ll play a critical role in developing the backend architecture, integrating third-party services, and ensuring seamless performance across all user interactions — from order placement to real-time delivery tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI).

Develop RESTful APIs for mobile and web applications.

Implement secure and efficient data models to support multi-vendor grocery functionality.

Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product managers to integrate new features.

Work with cloud services (AWS/GCP) and databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL).

Optimize performance and scalability for high-volume transactions.

Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

2+ years of experience in backend development using Python.

Experience with frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

Proficiency in designing and working with REST APIs.

Strong database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL like MongoDB).

Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker).

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

Experience with real-time features like delivery tracking using WebSockets.

Knowledge of payment gateway integration and geolocation APIs.

Exposure to Agile/Scrum development practices.

Previous experience in e-commerce or on-demand delivery app development.
