Job Description
We have an opportunity available for a Plating Supervisor who will be responsible for properly analyzing chemicals and monitoring the plating process, ensuring the quality of all parts produced. You will work Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
Knowledge of tank and weirs with level, formulation, air agitation, filtration, and chemical maintenance procedures
Monitor, clean, and change all filtration and regeneration systems, according to the chemical maintenance schedule
Interpret a variety of instruction furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Maintain a safe and clean area around the chemical storage area, filtration, regeneration, and recovery equipment
Assist and train other plating technicians when needed
Keep area clean and safe, maintain work practices and procedures, and use proper safety equipment correctly
Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED; Previous Aviation experience is required
Must have knowledge of hazardous material handling, solution maintenance, basic chemistry, basic plating on plastic training, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
Prior plating on metal experience is preferred but not required
Knowledge of tank and weirs with level, formulation, air agitation, filtration, and chemical maintenance procedures is needed
Must be able to read and interpret a variety of instructions, reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals
Must observe and practice all safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment when necessary
Must have the ability to stand on your feet for 8 hours and lift/carry 50 pounds
Must be able to work well with others in a team environment
The ability to maintain a clean, well-organized work area while performing all assigned tasks and following company, safety, and environmental regulations
Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
