Job Description
We are seeking a Telecommunications Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will configure, install, and maintain voice and data network infrastructure, as well as other low-voltage systems, including, but not limited to video surveillance and access control systems.
Responsibilities:
-Maintain customer rapport by listening to, and resolving concerns
-Install and maintain Voice/Data networks, Access Control, and Video Surveillance systems
-Provide training and support to end users
-Install and maintain cabling (Cat-3, Cat-5e, Cat-6, Coax, Fiber Optic, etc.)
-Troubleshoot and repair wide variety of low voltage wiring irregularities
-Investigate customer issues and design appropriate solutions
-Order and maintain inventory stock supplies
-Travel to multiple locations on any given day
Qualifications:
-Must have valid Driver's License
-Must be willing to drive company vehicle several hours a day (when required)
-Previous experience in telecommunications, alarm circuitry, or other related fields
-Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
-Strong attention to detail
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to keep accurate records and documentation
