Server
Compensation- $16.50 per hour (plus tips)
Job Summary: Our Front of House team members are an integral part of our brewery. As a server, you will guide guests through an incredible experience in our taproom by providing complete table service in an open-seating, fast paced environment. Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable, driven and attentive.
Responsibilities:
· Be an ambassador of Route 30 Brewing, understanding that you are the face of the company and must represent what Route 30 stands for in every interaction you have with customers and in everything you do both inside and outside of the taproom
· Uphold customer service standards, creating a welcoming and safe environment for all patrons
· Greet and interact with guests in a polite and respectful manner
· Provide complete table service in an open-seating, fast pace environment
· Demonstrate extensive knowledge of our food and beverage offerings, craft beer styles, hop flavor profiles and current craft beer trends
· Educate guests on our products, company culture and brewing process
· Serve alcohol responsibly by adhering to all Company policies, and Local, State, and Federal regulations concerning the sale of alcohol.
· Follow all Front of House SOPs
· Build relationships with guests through exemplary customer service
· Maintain a clean environment
Qualifications:
· Knowledge and/or capability to navigate POS system (Toast)
· Must be 21 years of age or older
· Team-Oriented: Stands for teamwork and is ready and willing to jump in to help others
· Minimum 1 year relevant full-service restaurant service experience
· Must be a motivated, self-starter with a hard working, driven attitude
· Availability to work 3-4 shifts per week including mornings, nights, and weekends
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups at all organizational levels
Impeccable customer service skills and a desire to interact with a wide range of individuals with varying levels of beer knowledge
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Desire to learn about craft beer and quality standards, including draft maintenance
Must be able to walk, sit, stand, crouch for extended periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Cicerone Certified
· Proof of Completion of RBS certification through ABC
· 1 year experience in a brewery/taproom
