Job Description

This position has the ultimate responsibility for all personnel relations activities. Directs the resource management system to assure the goals and objective of our company are met.

Essential Functions:

Main point of contact for hourly Team Members and salary management for all needs

Provides support to Management staff as needed

Handle Team Relations issues and corrective actions

Maintains the personnel records and files.

Assists in E-verify requirement upon hiring employees in full-time status.

Assists in tracking FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) as required by Federal law and maintains records for it.

Assists in onboarding of new employees.

Assists in tracking temporary staffing – orientation, attendance, transitioning, etc.

Assists in maintaining system for hourly attendance records.

Attends quarterly HR meetings sponsored by our customer.

Participates in developing the Company strategic plan; converts plan items pertaining to Human Resources into goals and objectives for accomplishment.

Maintains an open door policy in support of employee problems.

Supports a work environment where co-workers with divergent views are welcomed and solicited.

Creates an environment where creativity is expected and rewarded.

Assumes a shared responsibility in personal growth and development goals; appreciates and supports the operating philosophy of the Company including its policies and procedures.

Responsible for mentoring new team members.

Adhere to and administer company policies/procedures pertaining to their job.

Actively seeks out areas for improvement and devises/aids in the development of counter measures.

Any and all other tasks assigned by management.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Five (5) years experience.

Must be able to clearly and directly communicate, internally and externally, through reports, personally, by telephone, etc.

Must be able to counsel, guide, and evaluate the work of others in a manner that motivates the achievement of company goals.

Must be willing to travel.
