Class A Tig Welder

Automation Personnel Services is looking for an experienced and hard-working Class A Tig Welder for a company based in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible metal fabrication using tig welding based on customer specifications.

Pay Rate

$20.00-$28 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Tig Welder Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up welding machines based on the job at hand.

• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.

• Tig Weld steel, aluminum and stainless components based on the specifications of the engineering drawings.

• Layout parts and fixture them to hold the tolerances specified.

• Use shop math in set-up and inspection.

Tig Welding Qualifications and Requirements

• Experienced Class A TIG Welder required.

• Must be able to demonstrate ability to perform class A category welds using 14-gauge or 16-gauge material in under 15 minutes, will be tested during interview process

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

• High level of attention to detail.

• Basic ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and other shop drawing aids
