Machine Operators

MACHINE OPERATOR

Automation Personnel Services is seeking several Machine Operators for a food manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, you will support all production processes and facility equipment. Primary duties include preventative maintenance, machine troubleshooting and project support. This is a full time, temp-to-hire position.

Pay rate

$16.50 per hour

Shifts and Schedules

Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm

Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure that lubricant (oil) reservoirs (if present) on equipment is maintained at proper levels (oil is obtained from Maintenance Associates.

Ensure that cases / materials brought to production area are accurate for product being produced.

Set up / adjust carton former for product being produced.

Ensure that hot-melt glue reservoirs are filled, and heated. Use caution to avoid burns when working around hot glue.

Cycle machine to produce enough cartons to ensure that packing lines are filled prior to production start-up.

Maintain supply of cartons / boxes in feed magazines.

Machine Operator Skills and Qualifications

Signoff and understand all GMP standards

Lift up to 45lbs maximum (in office assessment will be conducted)

Work in hot environments and lots or walking

Prior production or food experience is a plus

Background check and drug screen required
