Production Line Operator

Position Title: Production Line Operator

Wage: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 3am-3pm Monday-Friday

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Production Line Operator for a company in Racine, WI. This is a contract to hire role.

Production Line Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Safely operate all production line equipment to meet or exceed plant production goals

- Specific plant equipment may include, but is not limited to, extruders, conveyors, material mixers, tumblers, dryers, and screeners

- Additional plant equipment may include forklifts, wheel loaders, skid steers, and floor sweepers

- Coordinate specific duties and tasks with fellow workers to ensure a team work place atmosphere

- Participate in and contribute to daily maintenance and housekeeping tasks as required to ensure a safe, smooth, and efficient plant operation

- Work with fellow team members to ensure product quality is maintained, while striving to meet and surpass plant production goals

Production Line Operator Requirements:

- Good communication skills

- Must be able to work effectively in a team atmosphere

- Experienced forklift operator

- Wheel loader and skid steer experience a plus, but not required

- Familiarity with basic electric motor controls

- PLC experience a plus, but not required

- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
