Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in strategic decision-making processes, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the financial planning and analysis initiatives to support the company's financial strategy
Lead the annual budgeting process and implement budgetary control measures to ensure compliance and efficiency
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support
Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
Approve budgets, improve our financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management
Coordinate with different department heads to compile and review financial information
Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the construction or real estate development industry
Proven experience in the approval of budgets
Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to direct and manage a team
Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills
Proficiency in financial modelling techniques
