Job Summary:
MIMCO offers a unique, hands-on, rotational paid internship program in the commercial real estate industry, specifically focused on the management of retail shopping centers. Over the course of the program, interns may rotate through key departments—including Property Management, Acquisitions & Dispositions, Maintenance, Construction, Finance & Accounting, Human Resources—spending meaningful time in each. This structure is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of how each function contributes to the overall success of a retail real estate portfolio. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals, contribute to real projects, and gain practical insight into day-to-day operations and strategic decision-making. At the conclusion of the internship, participants will deliver a final presentation to company leadership and owners summarizing their contributions, key takeaways, and how the experience has shaped their perspective on the commercial real estate industry. This position exists in a temperature-controlled environment.

• Support problem solving, conflict resolution, and solution development to meet project milestones, with the goal of exceeding expectations for performance, quality, and timing.
• Assists with optimizing and improving company work process and methodologies.

• Perform in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions.
• Comply with MIMCO policies and procedures.
• Physical presence on the job is essential and necessary.

Education -
• Interns are generally college students pursuing degree programs. There are no specific restrictions on major, graduation year, or progress.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities -
• Must be well organized.
• Must manage time well.
• Must be fluent in English
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
