We are currently searching for an experienced, and passionate Sous Chef to join out team at Casey J's Tavern!
The ideal candidate is a driven self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who is passionate about everything food & beverage, hospitality, people, talent development, teambuilding and people culture champion. They should have a demonstrated ability to think analytically, have keen financial acumen, excellent people leadership skills, an abundance of creativity, desire to provide high quality food, have a critical eye for detail, and have high expectations and standards.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive starting pay of $24 - $26 and hour (approximately $70,000 per year)

Minimum of 2 years of kitchen management experience preferred
Expected to work 40 - 50 hours a week
Passion, dedication and drive
Excellent food knowledge regarding both ingredients and preparation techniques
Technical excellence
The ability to inspire teams of people to work together towards a common goal
The ability to lead by example, setting the tone for a culture of trust and excellence
Excellent communication skills with individuals below, beside and above you in the organization
Excellent organizational skills including proven experience with cost controls, particularly with labor and food costs
Demonstrated experience in training and staff development
Conflict management skills
Hands on management skills in a fast-paced work environment
