Bizzell US is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support the configuration, enhancement, and optimization of FOH’s IT Service Management (ITSM) processes using the ServiceNow platform. This role involves configuring modules, developing custom solutions, integrating with other FOH systems, documenting SOPs, and providing user training.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in federal environments and a deep understanding of ITIL-based workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Configuration & Development
Design and configure ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Request, Change, CMDB, and Knowledge Management.
Develop custom workflows, business rules, UI policies, and scripts to meet FOH operational requirements.
Maintain platform upgrades, patches, and feature deployments in alignment with best practices.
System Integration
Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools and platforms including SharePoint, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, and security systems.
Build and manage REST/SOAP API connections and data exchange processes.
Documentation & SOP Creation
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and system documentation for administrators and end-users.
Support audit readiness and configuration traceability through documentation.
User Support & Training
Conduct onboarding sessions and user training for new workflows or enhancements.
Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with HHS OCIO as needed.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, and ITSM process automation.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Developer certification.
Experience working with government agencies, especially HHS or civilian health sectors.
Understanding of FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST 800-53 control alignment.
Work Environment
Hybrid work model with periodic on-site work in Rockville, MD.
Must be available during core EST business hours (7 AM – 6 PM) to support users and perform system updates.
