Work location: Primarily remote, based in the Atlanta area in case of possible on-site need.
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity System Administrator to support critical enterprise security operations. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing endpoint detection, network access control, and security visibility platforms, with a strong emphasis on Forescout and/or CrowdStrike. This is not a user-level position; hands-on system administration experience with one or both platforms is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Forescout or CrowdStrike security platforms at the enterprise level.
Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot policies, sensors, connectors, and agents.
Manage device onboarding, visibility, and enforcement across large-scale environments.
Integrate Forescout or CrowdStrike with other enterprise tools (e.g., SIEM, SOAR).
Monitor security alerts and implement mitigation or response actions.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enhance detection capabilities and enforce security policies.
Document procedures, configurations, and operational playbooks.Requirements:
5+ years in cybersecurity, with 2+ years in Forescout and/or CrowdStrike administration (not just usage).
Proven experience configuring modules, deploying agents/sensors, tuning policies, and managing rule sets.
Deep understanding of endpoint or network access control.
Ability to write documentation, SOPs, and contribute to platform integration and optimization.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST, Zero Trust, or RMF is a plus.
Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements.
