Bizzell US is seeking three (3) highly skilled Full Stack Developers to support the modernization, maintenance, and enhancement of FOH’s custom and GOTS applications. These developers will work across both frontend and backend components of enterprise systems, supporting Agile development cycles, integration testing, and technical documentation.
Ideal candidates will have experience working in federal health IT environments and proficiency in maintaining scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development & Maintenance
Develop and maintain front-end interfaces using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
Maintain and enhance backend services using Node.js, .NET, Java, or Python depending on the application stack.
Implement change requests, fix bugs, and support enhancement features for FOH applications.
Agile Support
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and demos.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and QA Engineers to deliver user-centered, compliant software solutions.
Integration & Testing
Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing for application updates.
Integrate front-end and back-end components securely and efficiently.
Ensure compatibility with existing FOH systems and infrastructure.
Documentation & Version Control
Maintain clear, concise technical documentation, including design specs and release notes.
Use Git or similar tools for source control and branching strategies.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
3+ years of experience in full stack application development.
Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks).
Proficiency in back-end languages and frameworks (e.g., .NET, Node.js, Python, Java).
Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing applications for federal agencies, especially HHS.
Familiarity with FOH systems such as FedHealth or Maximo.
Working knowledge of FedRAMP, 508 compliance, and NIST SP 800-53 requirements.
Experience with DevOps pipelines and containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Work Environment
Hybrid model with periodic on-site work in Rockville, MD.
Agile development cycles with required availability during 7 AM – 6 PM EST business hours.
