Senior Structural Engineer Water Facilities

Location: Fayetteville, AR Full-time 10+ Years of Experience

Compensation: $120K$150K base + benefits (health, PTO, 401K, development support)

Overview:

A nationally recognized water infrastructure group is searching for a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design of treatment facilities, tanks, vaults, and pump stations. This role is focused on technical execution, cross-functional coordination, and mentoring engineers through complex water-sector projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop structural plans for large-scale water/wastewater facilities.

Create structural calculations, technical specs, and cost estimates.

Review designs for code compliance and project standards.

Collaborate with other disciplines including mechanical, process, and electrical.

Guide and mentor junior structural engineers.

Qualifications:

PE License (required); ability to obtain in multiple states preferred.

10+ years of structural design experience in water infrastructure.

Bachelors in Structural or Civil Engineering (ABET accredited).

Proficiency in concrete, steel, masonry, and structural modeling tools.

SE licensure and familiarity with tools like AutoCAD/Revit a plus.
