Role: Systems Administrator

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Pay Rate Range: $80,000 - $120,000/year

**Onsite requirement - Must be authorized to work in the United States now, and in the future, without assistance.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Windows-based systems, virtual environments, and backup technologies, while ensuring the integrity, availability, and security of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Manage and support Active Directory, including Group Policy creation and administration.

Administer Microsoft Exchange for email and communication services.

Oversee VMware environments including provisioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of virtual machines.

Implement and manage data backup solutions and storage technologies to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.

Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities as needed.

Maintain documentation related to systems configuration, processes, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 5+ years of proven experience in systems administration.

Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server environments.

Proficient in Active Directory and Group Policy management.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange administration.

Solid understanding of VMware virtualization technologies.

Knowledge of backup storage solutions and disaster recovery practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications - VMware Certified Professional (VCP).

Experience working in a mid- to large-scale IT environment.

Familiarity with scripting or automation tools.
