Job Description:
We Are Seeking a Data Warehouse Architect to support critical reporting and data analysis needs for Child Welfare systems. This position is focused on the development and maintenance of federal reporting, ad-hoc reports, ETL processes, and Business Objects reports that support key child welfare initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with various technical teams to ensure the operational system's database structure aligns with the organizations data warehousing and analytics needs.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with development teams to ensure the operational system database supports the data warehouse's extraction and reporting requirements.
Design and implement a robust data warehouse model to fulfill analytic and reporting needs.
Continuously refine the data warehouse in response to changes in operational systems.
Provide application development support for business intelligence applications and integrate data warehouse resources with other enterprise applications.
Develop reporting and visualization solutions including dashboards and analytic reports.
Design and manage ETL processes to cleanse and consolidate data from multiple sources into the data warehouse.
Collaborate with federal reporting teams and end users to optimize and improve database queries.
Translate end-user data requirements into actionable reporting solutions.
Conduct training sessions and provide one-on-one support to internal developers and query writers.
Deliver technical support to assist with federal data reporting and ad-hoc queries.
Support the enterprise environment including Teradata Cloud and Business Objects platforms.
Required Skills:
Expertise in data warehouse architecture, modeling, and ETL development.
Strong knowledge of federal Child Welfare reporting standards (e.g., NYTD, AFCARS, NCANDS).
Proficiency in Teradata Cloud version 17.20 or similar enterprise data warehouse platforms.
Experience with SAP Business Objects XI 4.2 or comparable BI tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to translate user requirements into actionable technical solutions.
Experience working with operational data systems and developing reporting solutions based on complex business logic.
