Part-time
Description
Christian Family Solutions is a faith-based, religious organization committed to our mission, healing and helping people in need through the ministry of Jesus Christ. As more and more people seek help with difficult issues, we want to be the counseling resource they turn to for hope, healing, and peace.
We are seeking an Intake Specialist to provide services in our Intake Team. Our Intake Team is responsible for taking client phone calls and assessing the client’s needs, along with scheduling appointments and assisting with the maintenance of a neat and orderly schedule for our mental health workers. This is a part-time, remote role. Hours are approximately 24 per week, with daytime weekday hours.
What you will be doing
As an Intake Specialist, you will be assessing incoming calls on the intake line to determine the needs of potential clients and documenting each new case summary by creating medical records. You will assign clients to clinicians based on availability and client needs, while also obtaining and verifying insurance information to coordinate benefits and determine financial responsibilities. Through working alongside our program staff, you will be a key player in scheduling admissions and ensuring a smooth transition into services.
Why work for Christian Family Solutions?
At Christian Family Solutions, you have the opportunity to work with a well-trained and equipped staff who are able to safely navigate their way through the mental health field. You will receive on-the-job training to ensure that you, too, are well-trained and equipped for this role. If you are motivated to assist clients in a comfortable, supportive, and Christ-centered atmosphere with a strong Christian Mission and Core Values, we want you to be a part of our team.
