Job Responsibilities
Under the direction of Deputy Director, provides administrative support the Office of Programs, Reentry & Rehabilitative services.
Schedules meetings, maintains calendar of events, reviews and prepares memorandums and email communication, responds to telephone inquiries in a prompt, professional manner.
Completes necessary tasks and documentation for purchases.
Performs liaison duties for PRRS human resources.
Maintains professional relationships with the Agency Deputy Directors.
Provides institutional programmic support as needed.
Works on special projects/reports as required.
Experience with Microsoft Office, SC Enterprise Information System (SCEIS) human resources and shopping cart components preferred.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
(Or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the Division of State Human Resources)
A high school diploma and four (4) years’ experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services.
A bachelor's degree may be substituted for required work experience.
Ability to coordinate diverse administrative functions, ability to communicate effectively, proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and knowledge of SCEIS.
