SUMMARY
Provides assistance in the preparation and monitoring of department's Technology Investment Plan (TIP) budget to include vendor and budget maintenance. Supports the IT portfolio management application providing administrative support for day-to-day operations of the ITS department.
In the event of a natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Assists in budgetary and financial operations and compliance, including but not limited to the analysis of revenues, review of expenditures and tracking TIP budget availability.
Researches and assists with annual ITS financial lifecycle requirements. This involves assistance to ITS Leadership with the preparation of the annual TIP budget.
Responds to and resolves questions or concerns from Directors, Commissioners, vendors, outside executives, public and staff.
Works with budget, purchasing, finance, customers, business stakeholders and vendors to support the functional mission of the TIP operational requirements.
Supports the ITS Leadership team with the management of TIP contracts, obligations, expenditures as well as vendor contacts. Ensure accurate vendor information is available to support the annual maintenance renewal process.
Supports the invoice review, approvals, processing and tracking against contractual terms of key contract terms for data analytics and reporting.
Processes and verifies credit card statements and updates budget worksheets for planning and monitoring.
Monitors task orders on contracts and expenditures and advises of available balances.
Creates, maintains, updates, and manages accurate department files.
Creates and reviews professional documents as needed.

Knowledge of the organization of the County and of related departments and agencies.
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of municipal government procedures and practices.
Ability to comprehend, interpret and apply regulations, procedures and related information.
Knowledge of governmental purchasing, personnel, and accounting procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must possess an Associate’s degree with course work emphasis in Business Management, Accounting, or Bookkeeping or closely related field and two (2) years’ experiences in responsible secretarial or administrative experience performing accounting, bookkeeping, or finance related functions preferably in a government environment.
Additional qualifying education and/or experience which provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted one for the other on a year for year basis.

Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License
