Electrical Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities:

Develop and define electrical manufacturing methods and processes for life support and thermal control hardware.

Create assembly documentation, tool concepts, and support internal and supplier assembly operations.

Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and non-conformance resolutions.

Design sequences for complex assembly/repair operations and ensure compliance with EHS and quality standards.

Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction using expertise in fabrication, tooling, and production methods.

Requirements:

Experience with cost estimation, scheduling, and policy/procedure development.

Skilled in reviewing engineering drawings and identifying producibility improvements.

Strong teamwork, communication, and presentation skills in an integrated product development environment.

Involvement with initiatives like Lean Manufacturing, Process Certification, and EH&S compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in Creo or similar CAD tools.

Knowledge of electrical design/manufacturing and standards like IPC-J-STD-001E/ES, NASA-STD-8739.1/4.

Familiarity with MES tools such as Solumina.Company Description
