Summary

We are urgently hiring a Full-Time Electrician with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to join our Building Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced commercial electrician who enjoys solving problems, working independently and in a team setting.

While the primary focus of this position is electrical work, candidates with additional experience in basic plumbing, carpentry, or HVAC maintenance will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial buildings

Replace and troubleshoot ballasts, bulbs, parking lot lighting, outlets, and switches

Install and troubleshoot dedicated circuits, signage wiring, and automatic doors

Perform electrical upgrades and new installations in accordance with local and national codes

Respond to and complete electrical service requests and work orders

Assist with additional facility maintenance tasks as needed (light plumbing, carpentry, HVAC support)

Accurately document all work, inspections, and service calls in our work order management system

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Communicate with clients, vendors, and the internal Operations team in a professional and timely manner

Perform site inspections and preventative maintenance checks to identify electrical and safety issues

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrician

Strong working knowledge of electrical codes, systems, and tools

Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics

Basic familiarity with other building trades (plumbing, carpentry, HVAC) is a plus

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Valid driver’s license (required)

Schedule

8-hour shifts

Monday to Friday

Occasional after-hours or emergency call-outs
