My client, a forward-thinking and impactful organisation at the forefront of developing cutting-edge solutions to combat online fraud, is on the lookout for a sharp Senior Java Engineer to join their collaborative team. You'll be right in the thick of it, building and improving systems that genuinely help protect people. Plus, you'll get to connect with smart folks across some major players in the tech and finance worlds.

What you'll be doing day-to-day:

Keeping their current systems running smoothly and making them even better.

Getting creative and building new features and products from scratch.

Using Java to create software that's not just good, but rock-solid, scalable, and lightning-fast.

Making different systems talk to each other through APIs.

Putting your data skills to good use (SQL is key, and any experience with R or Pandas is a bonus!).

Working with AWS tools like EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.

Being part of the DevOps flow – helping with tools, pipelines, and all that good stuff.

Getting involved in Agile ways of working (Scrum and Kanban).

This is a hybrid role based in London a couple of days a week. The salary on offer is between £75,000 and £90,000 (depending on your experience).
