This role is responsible for performing teller transactions, account opening and maintenance.

Supports the credit union's strategic plan by providing exceptional service to members in order to meet their financial needsn2.
Promotes financial wellness of members by providing personalized needs-based solutions.n3.
Understands and educates members on all types of personal and business accounts, as well as our digital suite of products and services, through a consultative sales approach.n4.
Performs teller transactions, account opening and maintenance.
Utilizes resources and technology to create efficiencies and optimize the member experience.n5.
Develops understanding of all consumer lending products and proactively identifies opportunities utilizing CuneXus to cross-sell beneficial products and services, and credit cards.n6.
Originates and closes NCU's Smart Start, Cash Reserve Lines of Credit, and Personal Unsecured consumer loans.n7.
Calls on book of business, sets appointments and follows up on referrals.n8.
Collaborates with branch team and business partners for the purpose of acquiring and deepening member relationships.n9.
Meets or exceeds annual sales and service goals as assigned.n10.
Acts as a Navigant Credit Union ambassador in the community or at business-related functions.n11.
Maintains knowledge of and adhere to all applicable compliance, operational, and risk controls in accordance with credit union or regulatory standards and policies, with particular attention to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the SAFE Act.n12.
Performs all other duties as assigned by the Branch Management team.nnQUALIFICATIONS: nEducationnHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED) education required.
nnExperience/Skills/Knowledge:n1.
Excellent verbal, written, telephone and interpersonal communication skills required.
Must possess a strong service orientation and willingness to sell products and services.n2.
Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills required.n3.
Must have the ability to multi-task and thrive in a team-based environment.n4.
PC proficient including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the Internet.n5.
Preferred: Sales experience in a goal and/or commission-based customer service driven environment.n6.
Preferred: 2 years in member service and/or teller area of a credit union or other financial institution.n7.
Preferred: General knowledge of loan origination, underwriting and documentation.n8.
Must have the ability to function in a financial institution branch environment and utilize standard office equipment.
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
