Job Title: Website Developer

N-Tier Solutions Inc. is looking for a seasoned Website Developer with expertise in search engine optimization and innovative website creation. The Website Developer is responsible for creating a website for a new business in Virginia, a baseball and softball batting cage and training facility.
• Create and implement website designs based on client specifications and user experience (UX) principles.
• Develop responsive and dynamic web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
• Ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices.
• Develop and maintain server-side logic and databases.
• Implement APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Optimize web applications for speed and scalability.
• Customize and extend content management system functionalities as required.
• Manage website content updates and improvements.
• Conduct thorough testing of websites and applications to identify and fix bugs.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility.
• Optimize websites for performance, including loading speed and responsiveness.
• Implement best practices for SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
• Communicate effectively with client to understand the requirements and provide updates on project progress.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing website.
• Monitor website performance and security, applying updates and patches as necessary.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in website and WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress.
• Skilled in SEO and website analytics tools such as SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Trends.
• In-depth understanding of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication abilities in both writing and speaking.
• Completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.
• Able to engage with the client between 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.
• A portfolio link of finished projects is required.
