Mainframe - Technologies Specialist

1 - 12+ years experience in Mainframe Infrastructure management including vendor management 2. Diverse experience in Mainframe Infra/IT dimensions

2 -bProficiency in z/OS, AS400 and other mainframe operating systems like z/VM and z/VSE.

3 - Strong understanding of COBOL, JCL, and Assembler. Familiarity with other languages such as PL/I and REXX.

4 - Expertise in database management (DB2, IMS, FOCUS, and other databases)

5 - Proficiency in CICS (Customer Information Control System) for managing online transactions.

6 - Understanding of MQ (Message Queue) for messaging and integration.

7 - Experience with tools like RMF (Resource Measurement Facility) and SMF (System Management Facility) for performance monitoring. Skills in tuning mainframe systems for optimal performance.

8 - Knowledge of RACF (Resource Access Control Facility) for security management. Understanding of compliance requirements and industry standards.

9 - Familiarity with DFSMS (Data Facility Storage Management Subsystem) for managing storage resources.

10 - Experience with backup and recovery solutions.
