Notes from Call:

- Sr. Data Engineer (Azure), no data bricks needed

- Do need Azure Synapse (analytics/reporting tool)

- Using Data Factory, have to be very strong with SQL

- Developing SQL in Azure

- They do not need to be super strong with PowerBI, just need a little bit for reporting aspects

- 9/10 years experience, enterprise experience

- People who are able to build data pipelines from scratch, explain how they do this, and how the data flows

--> where are they pulling data from, what sources, what its used for (building reports etc...), why it flows

the way it does

Job Description:

1. Experience with Azure private and public cloud architecture

2. Strong database development skill. t-SQL experience in Azure SQL DW

3. Experience in handling structured and unstructured datasets

4. Experience in Advanced SQL techniques

5. Experience developing analytical reporting, ability to understand big data and make meaningful reporting

6. Experience writing SProcs, Knowledge of event driven architecture

7. Preferred - Experience with Azure functions, Event Grids, ADF or related skills
