Job Description and Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure staff adherence to all safety standards and healthcare regulations.

We are seeking an experienced Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to join the board at Avicenna Memorial Hospital. As the CMO, your primary responsibility will be to drive the success of our healthcare initiatives, ensuring the well-being of employees and stakeholders.

• Lead and shape the medical direction of the organization to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Objectives of This Role:

• Develop and execute the organization’s medical vision, strategies, and objectives in alignment with its goals and mission.

• Provide strategic medical leadership to drive clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and innovative healthcare solutions.

• Ensure the overall quality of medical services, adhering to laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that promote quality improvement and operational efficiency.

• Represent the organization in industry forums, conferences, and collaborations, contributing to thought leadership and shaping the future of healthcare.

Your Tasks:

• Oversee and manage medical and clinical operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and ethical practices.

• Develop and implement comprehensive policies and procedures related to medical care tailored to meet the organization’s goals.

Job Requirements

• Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in medicine.

• Valid license to practice medicine.

• Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting, with at least 5+ years in a managerial or administrative role.

• Proven track record of successfully implementing strategic initiatives, driving organizational growth, and improving patient outcomes.

• Knowledge and Expertise:

• Proficiency in international medical laws and regulations, with the ability to stay updated on the latest medical advancements.

• Experience in developing and implementing procedures related to medical care.

• Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Strong business acumen, including understanding healthcare economics, budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.

• Proficiency in strategic planning, risk management, and crisis response in healthcare settings.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced degree in healthcare management, public health, or a related field (e.g., MBA, MHA).

• Expertise in healthcare technology, digital transformation, and data analytics to drive innovation and improve clinical processes.

• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and legal requirements.

Specific Certifications or Licenses Required

• Must be a licensed physician with a degree in medicine.
