Job Title: Mechanical Design and Development Engineer

Job Description: Design the mechanisms by which machines operate using 2D CAD and 3D CAD.

Fields: Research and development in industries such as automobiles, motorcycles, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, robotics, medical devices, IoT devices, infrastructure, etc.

Employment Details

Employment Type: Full-time employee (permanent employment dispatch)

Contract Duration: No fixed term

Probation Period: 3 months (with training period)

Working Hours: 8:45 AM - 5:45 PM (8 hours of work)

Break Time: 45 minutes

Holidays: Weekends (Saturday and Sunday), public holidays, and annual holidays totaling 126 days (with variations depending on client company). Includes holidays like Golden Week, summer vacation, and year-end/new year holidays.

Leave: Paid annual leave, half-day paid leave, special leave (for weddings, funerals, childbirth, disaster, driver’s license renewal, etc.), childcare, and caregiver leave.

Overtime: No fixed overtime allowance; average overtime of 18.1 hours per month.

Language Proficiency:

Japanese: N2 level (business-level Japanese is preferred).

English: Daily conversation level.

Licenses: No specific license required.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: Basic salary of 280,000 yen (subject to increase based on working hours and job performance).

Salary during New Employee Training: 186,000 yen per month.

Bonuses: Paid twice a year (July and December).

Estimated Annual Salary:

39 years old (expert): 9,482,000 yen

28 years old: 6,774,200 yen

Salary Example: New employee in the all-solid-state battery R&D field: 415,875 yen (age 23, including 20 hours of overtime).

Other Allowances: Position allowances, overtime, holiday work, night work, commuting, relocation, and living allowances.

Insurance: Employment insurance, industrial accident insurance, health insurance, employee pension plan, and welfare insurance.

Required Experience and Skills

Required Education: Graduation or expected graduation from a graduate school or university in a science or engineering field.
