Scrum master

Sancus Technologies is looking for an experienced and motivated Scrum Master to lead Agile practices and ensure successful delivery of projects across teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile frameworks, expertise in AWS, Java, .NET, and SQL, and the ability to drive collaboration and efficiency among cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Act as a servant leader for development teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices.

Collaborate with product owners to prioritize and manage product backlogs effectively.

Guide teams to deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Identify and address any impediments or blockers to ensure smooth progress of sprints.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team.

Utilize AWS, Java, .NET, and SQL expertise to facilitate technical discussions and ensure alignment with project requirements.

Monitor team performance through key metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and capacity planning.

Support the adoption of Agile practices across the organization and coach team members on Agile principles.

Ensure effective communication and collaboration between stakeholders, teams, and leadership.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in software development projects.

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and hands-on experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

Strong technical background in AWS, Java, .NET, and SQL to support and guide technical teams.

Exceptional problem-solving, conflict resolution, and team-building skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile certification.

Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based development environments.

Familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).

Knowledge of quality assurance processes and software testing methodologies.
