Under broad supervision, analyzes customer business needs and participates in the planning, design and implementation of new or enhanced systems. May act as a team or project leader.

Jop Description:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Business Analyst tjoin our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, configuring, and supporting the Workday platform toptimize human capital management (HCM), and other business processes. The role involves working with stakeholders tunderstand business requirements, translating them intsystem configurations, and ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of the Workday system. The Business Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and mentor junior analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

Workday Configuration and Optimization: Configure and optimize Payroll modules within Workday tmeet business requirements.

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders telicit, document, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions tstreamline operations and reduce costs.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Build custom reports and dashboards within Workday tprovide business insights and support decision making.

Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans tvalidate system configuration and ensure that updates and changes meet business needs.

Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the liaison between business units and IT teams, ensuring effective communication and successful outcomes.

System Implementation: Support the design, testing, and implementation of new systems or processes, ensuring smooth integration intexisting operations.

Documentation: Create detailed functional specifications, process flow diagrams, and other documentation tsupport project execution and future reference.

Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior business analysts, sharing best practices and providing leadership in complex analytical tasks.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.

Experience: 5/7 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or related roles, with a proven track record of successful project outcomes.

Skills:

Strong proficiency in business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g., SWOT analysis, BPMN, etc.)

Advanced data analysis skills with tools like Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Experience with process improvement frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability tmanage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Workday certifications in Workday Payroll.

Experience with data migration and integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIBs, or APIs.

Experience working in HR or finance teams is an advantage.

Certification such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP).

Experience with ERP or CRM systems implementation (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).

Required Skills:

Workday Payroll Configuration and Optimization in an enterprise environment. 5 Years

Requirements gathering for enterprise implementation of Workday Payroll. 5 Years

Highly Desired Skills:

Experience with data migration and integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIBs, or APIs. 5 Years
