Responsibilities
Work in an Engineering environment developing products for the Aviation industry
FPGA design using Verilog/System Verilog code
Hands-on involvement in circuit board and lab simulations.
Provide hardware and software design support from the Concept phase through Production
Work collaboratively in a team with System Engineers, PCB designers, software developers, and other electrical engineers
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education
2+ years electronic design experience with FPGAs or ASICs
Expertise with Verilog or VHDL
Understanding of FPGA design including RTL design, verification, logic synthesis, prototyping and timing analysis.
Proficiency with using Vivado; knowledge of recent Xilinx/Microsemi architectures
Proficiency with RTL simulation tools, ModelSim/Questa preferred
Deep competencies within analysis and circuit board troubleshooting
Familiarity with industry-standard protocols such as I2C, SPI, JTAG, Ethernet, PCIe, video desired.
