Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring smooth operations, compliance with regulations, and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.

Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of logistics staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to company standards.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs while maintaining service quality.

Vendor Coordination: Negotiate contracts with carriers, suppliers, and other logistics partners to secure cost-effective and reliable services.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international transportation laws and regulations.

Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management on logistics performance and improvement areas.

Customer Focus: Collaborate with clients to understand their logistics needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Requirements:

Proven experience in logistics management, supply chain management, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of warehousing, cargo handling, and transportation support activities.

Excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Proficiency in logistics software and tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with SIC codes 52103, 52243, 52290, and 70229.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements in logistics and transportation.
