Ophthalmology Technician, Flemington, Clinton and Bridgewater, NJ. $25-$30+. Visual field, OCT, ONA, Tonometry, Applanation, Pachymetry, A-Scan, B-Scan, Fluorescein Angiography (if certified), Lasik, Manual Refraction, Auto refraction, prepare patients for office lasers, etc. Hands on involvement for patient work ups and testing. Prefer sufficient knowledge of billing requirements and coding. Complete documentation for medication approval. Proficient in computers, will work on NextGen. 11 physicians in the group. 8 of them are ophthalmologists, specialties include retina, oculoplastics, glaucoma, cataracts and LASIK. -Hours: 8am-5:30 most days with occasional evenings (maybe 2 a month) until 8pm. Saturday: 1-2 per YEAR. Medical insurance: Horizon Omnia after 3 months, 2 plan options available. The regular EPO plan has a bi-weekly deduction of $398.87 and the HSA plan has a bi-weekly deduction of $225.51. Free exams for employees and immediate family. Dental and disability through Aflac.
