Job Description: Our client, a global bank, has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant to work from their Miami, FL facility. This person will provide administrative support to a department or individual. Duties may include word processing, filing, faxing, answering phones, receiving and directing visitors, scheduling, financial record keeping, coordinating meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies and sorting/distributing mail. May work on special projects. Strong communication skills and organizational skills are essential. Familiarity with MS Office required.
Job Purpose:
To assist a team of financial advisors with general office work/clerical duties, opening and updating of accounts using KYC systems, updating/reviewing/creating Excel spreadsheets. Candidates with some experience in financial services/banking/compliance industry preferred or candidates who have an understanding of corporate and legal documents
Duties:
order entry (if registered)
updating, reviewing, and creating Excel based spreadsheets
opening and updating of accounts (KYC experience a plus)
sending emails and reports
