Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with Business/Product Owners, Solution Architects, and other PDOs during grooming sessions to prepare System Design Documents (SDD) aligned with Software Requirements Documents (SRD).

Conduct high-level impact assessments based on SRDs and detailed assessments from SDDs, and propose Levels of Effort (LOEs).

Deliver comprehensive application designs that adhere to industry best practices while considering the entire application lifecycle.

Publish application designs to Wiki SharePoint, including detailed Interface Design Documents (IDDs), flowcharts, and sequence diagrams.

Break down the design into deliverable units such as EPICs and User Stories, along with detailed Acceptance Criteria to provide clear guidance for implementation.

Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary contact for representative Bedrock tenants.

Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs), troubleshoot system and code issues, and recommend best practices.

Identify potential causes of production issues, analyze defect resolutions, and recommend effective solutions.

Actively participate in an Agile development team, attending daily scrums and other ceremonial meetings via video conferencing.

Ensure adherence to security-first principles, maintaining a robust security posture in line with client policies.

Support Production Go-Live events (typically once a month on Friday nights EST) and other deployment activities as needed.

Conduct design and code reviews for team members, ensuring high-quality and well-structured code.

Maintain a groomed Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) backlog.

Provide inputs for Scope vs. Capacity and Sprint planning sessions to assist management.

Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products, facilitating brainstorming for improved solution strategies.

Required Experience & Skills:

Spring Framework & Java – 6 years of experience.

Angular – 5 years of experience.

RDBMS and Messaging Systems – 5 years of experience.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Business Process Management (BPM) – 2 years of experience.
