Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.

• Optimize applications for performance, speed, and responsiveness.

• Identify and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Android development.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

• Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience: 2+ years of professional Android development experience.

• Proficiency in: Kotlin and/or Java.

• Familiarity with: Android Studio, Jetpack libraries, and Android UI design principles.

• Experience with: RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries (e.g., Retrofit, Glide).

• Knowledge of: MVVM/MVP architecture patterns.

• Understanding of: Material Design guidelines and UI/UX best practices.

• Version control: Proficiency with Git.

• Tools: Experience with debugging and performance tools like Android Profiler.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hybrid frameworks like Flutter or React Native is a plus.

• Knowledge of Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Push Notifications).

• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Espresso).

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
