Java Developer

SRK Systems, Inc. is an IT firm engaged in the business of providing data processing consulting services to major corporations, government agencies and other business concerns throughout the United States.

SRK Systems Inc. has an opening for the position of Java Developer.

Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to a related degree.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand requirements from the business partners and then design and create technical specifications.

• Develop the applications from the design and tech specifications using Java, Groovy, Spring, Spring Boot, Apache Camel.

• Design the MQ consumer framework and develop it, so that the applications can consume the messages with publish subscribe mechanism over MQ.

• Develop the applications with camel rest to expose them as http endpoints.

• Develop the applications using Kafka connectors to monitor changelog and publish the events into kaka topics.

• Develop the kafka based applications to consume events from the kafka topics.

• Ensure that the application is deployed properly to production by providing guidance throughout the release process.

• Develop migration process of applications from liberty to tomcat servers and document the necessary steps in making an application compatible with tomcat server.

• Use Appdynamics to determine the poorly performing systems by using business transactions and information points.

• Develop Splunk queries and alerts to monitor the errors in logs and alert in case of errors.

• Use Sentryone to monitor sql queries and stored procedures performances and modify the queries to perform better.

• Document the design and specifications in confluence for maintenance and reference.

• Discuss new technologies and frameworks that will help in achieving better performance with system analysts and other developers.

• Making sure that the application is behaving as per the requirements provided by business partners.
