google cloud engineer

We are seeking a skilled Google Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage robust cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, infrastructure management, and a passion for driving cloud adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform.

• Develop and manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery.

• Automate cloud infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.

• Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency, performance, and reliability.

• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions into existing workflows.

• Stay updated with the latest GCP features and advancements to recommend enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.

• Certifications: Google Cloud certifications such as Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect are preferred.

• Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in Google Cloud services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM).

o Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

o Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.

o Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

o Experience with monitoring tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana.

• Soft Skills:

o Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset.

o Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

o Ability to work in an agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.

• Knowledge of database management (Cloud SQL, Firestore, BigQuery).

• Understanding of serverless computing and microservices architecture.
