Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality assurance and adept at identifying issues, implementing solutions, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.

• Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements.

• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues to resolution.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar.

• Conduct performance testing and security testing as needed.

• Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software testing.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JMeter).

• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).

• Knowledge of version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or Gatling.

• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.

• Certifications such as ISTQB, Certified Software Tester (CSTE), or equivalent.

• Background in testing cloud-based applications and environments.
