Key Responsibilities:

Analysis Planning:

Collaborate with Discipline Leads and System Engineers to develop workflows.

Document analysis plans adhering to Company's QA standards.

Modeling and Analysis:

Create and refine models in MATLAB/Simulink for various purposes (e.g., component sizing, performance verification, accident analyses).

Perform analysis and propose design or control solutions based on results.

Documentation:

Write comprehensive reports to document methodologies, models, and outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 12 years of experience, Master’s degree with 10 years, or Ph.D. with 8 years.

Security Clearance:

U.S. citizenship with eligibility for a Secret clearance.

Technical Skills:

Expertise in reactivity control.

Experience with NRC or commercial nuclear operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Credentials:

Active Secret clearance.

Advanced degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.

Technical Expertise:

Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink, including programming and scripting.

Proficiency in additional programming languages (C#, C++, Python, VisualBasic, or MATLAB).

Knowledge of control theory, industrial process control, and power systems.

Industry Standards:

Practical experience with NQA-1 Quality Requirements.

Hands-on experience in power systems or thermal energy equipment.
