PART-TIME FLAGGER (Traffic Controller)

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Controller to join our team.

The ideal candidate is REQUIRED to have a Flagger certification from American Traffic Safety Services, National Safety Counsel, Or the Labor Union, or any other accredited School recognized by the State of Connecticut.

Job Seeker MUST also have an OSHA 10 Minimum

*Responsibilities*

- Direct traffic at construction sites to ensure the safety of workers, pedestrians, and motorists

- Coordinate with construction crews to implement traffic control plans

- Monitor traffic patterns and adjust control measures as needed

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding traffic conditions

*Requirements*

- Experience in working around heavy equipment such as graders, front loader trucks, backhoes, loaders, dump trucks, and bulldozers

- Familiarity with paving equipment including Caterpillar machinery

- Ability to perform tasks efficiently and follow safety protocols

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
