ETL developer

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes for transforming and integrating data across systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data engineering, ETL tools, and database technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and scripts to ensure accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading.

• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and design solutions.

• Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and efficiency.

• Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless data flow.

• Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and testing processes.

• Document ETL processes, data flows, and configurations.

• Stay updated with emerging ETL technologies and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration.

• Proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or AWS Glue.

• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).

• Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.

• Experience with scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data workflows.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.

• Knowledge of APIs and integrating with external data sources.

• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
