Tier 2 Help Desk

Job Description:

DBS is seeking a Help Desk Operator to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Highly qualified candidates will have the ability to:

• Assist in performing technical operation and testing of fully integrated computer-based systems in a supervised setting.

• Manage and prioritize a workload of assigned tickets.

• Communicate effectively with peers/leadership in a team-focused environment.

• Seamlessly transition from daily ops to project actions, and vice-versa.

• Receive and accurately follow guidance and SOP’s provided by contract and government leadership.

• Adapt to new situations and policies in the ever-developing technical world.

• Operate a variety of system components to include hardware, software, and mass storage technology.

• Operate, under supervision, communications-computer systems, and install, implement, maintain and tune operating systems, disk and tape management systems, and computer operations automation software.

This position requires local travel using personal vehicles, company van, cart or other motorized vehicle.

Minimum Qualifications:

• One (1) year of Help Desk or Deskside Support experience

Certification Requirements:

• Security+ CE

• DLA CE Cert IA Role/Function: Help Desk Tier II & III - may be obtained upon hire

Security Clearance Requirement:

• Secret

Base salary

$40,000/yr - $50,000/yr
