Data Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making processes across various departments. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data to help improve business operations, optimize performance, and guide strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Extraction:

Gather and consolidate data from multiple sources (databases, spreadsheets, APIs, etc.).

Ensure data is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

Data Cleaning & Preparation:

Clean and preprocess raw data to ensure consistency, reliability, and quality.

Identify, address, and resolve any data integrity issues.

Data Analysis:

Use statistical methods and analytical tools (Excel, SQL, Python, R, etc.) to analyze trends, patterns, and correlations in large datasets.

Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover insights.

Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

Reporting & Visualization:

Develop and deliver regular reports, dashboards, and visualizations (using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or others) to communicate insights to stakeholders.

Present complex data findings in a clear and easily understandable format for non-technical audiences.

Collaboration & Support:

Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations, etc.) to understand data needs and provide analytical support.

Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business strategies, processes, and performance.

Optimization & Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process optimization based on data findings.

Suggest data-driven improvements and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.

Data Security & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with data protection laws and maintain data privacy and security standards.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a data analysis role (may vary depending on the seniority of the position).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server).

Knowledge of statistical techniques and data analysis methodologies.

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.

Effective communication skills for presenting data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience working in industry-specific data analytics (e.g., finance, marketing, healthcare, e-commerce).

Advanced degree (Master's or higher) in a relevant field.
