Head Baker in Taguig
Location: BGC
Must have experience in a 4-5 Stars Hotel Cafe
Head Baker will supervise /work with atleast 7 staff / bakers.
Job Role
-Supervise daily bakery operations and production schedules.
-Prepare and bake a variety of items, including bread, pastries, and cakes.
-Innovate and test new recipes to expand the menu.
-Ensure consistent quality and presentation standards for all baked goods.
-Manage inventory levels and order necessary baking supplies.
-Recruit, train, and oversee bakery staff members.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
-Control food costs and implement waste reduction strategies.
-Comply with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
-Proven experience as a Head Baker or in a similar role.
-Has proven experience working in a French Patisserie or Boulangerie
-In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
-Strong leadership and team management skills.
-Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
-Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
-Creative and innovative mindset for developing new recipes.
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment.
-Ability to lift heavy bags of flour and other baking supplies.
-Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
-Proficiency in using baking equipment and tools.
-Basic computer skills for inventory management and scheduling.
-Formal training or certification in baking is a plus.
-Passion for baking and a positive attitude.
