Qualifications:
-No experience necessary, will train.
-Possess a valid driver's license, driving will be required in this position.
-Basic knowledge in the operation and maintenance of vehicles and heavy equipment.
Nice-to-haves:
-Familiarity with hand and power tools and equipment commonly used in maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
-Perform routine servicing and corrective maintenance of water and wastewater collection systems.
-Clean vehicles, heavy equipment, pumps, tools, and other stationery and portable equipment.
-Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment; perform minor maintenance and lubrication of machinery such as changing oil and greasing equipment.
-Operate and maintain vehicles, equipment, and tools required to load, unload, haul, and spread sand, gravel, dirt, and waste products.
-Dig and refill ditches and trenches as needed.
-Assist operations and maintenance personnel by carrying or holding materials, supplies, and tools.
-Maintain grounds and buildings, including cutting grass, trimming trees, and caring for lawns and ornamental plantings.
-Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
-Work safely and adhere to established safety procedures.
-Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted during work.
-Respond to pages as requested by management and be available for on-call shifts.
-Perform other duties as required/requested by the Project Manager or Shift Supervisor.
