#Hiring: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Hampton, VA, USA

Compensation: $90,000 - $95,000 / Annually

Level: Mid-Senior Level Type: Full-Time

Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with plant leadership and segment leaders, providing financial analytics to support both short-term and long-term plant goals. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, organized, and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Identify process issues, analyze root causes, and follow through on corrective actions

Lead spend-control activities while partnering with key departmental stakeholders

Support operational reporting, P&L projections, monthly forecasting, and annual planning

Drive process improvements and efficiency gains through automation

Analyze data to support decision-making and track performance progress

Manage month-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations

Lead Sarbanes-Oxley internal control testing

Execute special projects, including building Excel models

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting in a manufacturing environment

Proficient in MS Office software (Advanced Excel skills required)

Experience with ERP systems (Hyperion, Oracle, or similar preferred)

Preferred:

Qualified Accountant, CPA, CMA, and/or MBA
