Central Texas Recruiting is seeking an Accountant to join a government administration team in Sacramento, CA. In this role, you will handle account reconciliations, payroll transactions, financial discrepancies, and process improvements while working with key financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
Reconcile insurance carrier accounts & payroll transactions
Research and resolve financial discrepancies
Lead reconciliation meetings with carriers
Utilize COMPASS (SAP HRIS), Benefit Bridge, Microsoft Excel, and more
Identify and recommend process improvements
Qualifications & Requirements
U.S. Citizenship or Work Authorization Required
Education & Experience:
3+ years of accounting experience (auditing & reconciliation preferred)
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (data analysis & reporting)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business (CPA can substitute for degree)
On-Site Position: Midtown Sacramento, CA (No remote work available)
