End Client: Publicis Sapient

Description: Role-Senior .Net Developer

Ideally this would sit in their Chicago office 3 days/week but could have flex on the hybrid.

They would like to keep it local to Chicago regardless

• At least 10 years of professional development experience with significant experience working as a developer on complex projects with multiple cross functional teams.

• Over 7 years of experience in developing RESTful APIs using .NetCore 3.1, .NET 6, WebAPI, and .NET 4.7, .NET 4.8, WCF.

• The candidate should be able to drive the development of efficient, secure, and scalable RESTful APIs as part of the next-gen server development team.

• Knowledge of .Net 8 frameworks like Microsoft.AspNetCore.Authentication, Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore.SqlServer and so forth.

• The candidate should have experience in working with a relational database and associated query language, preferably SQL Server/T-SQL.

• Experience/working knowledge with GoLang, NodeJS or Python would be preferred but not required.

Must – Have:

• Strong .Net core

• StrongPython with Object oriented programming – must have worked at Pyspark/dbt & similar ETL frameworks

• SQL coding skills with expertise in oracle and MS SQL

• Strong client communication and engagement skills

• Should be able to work with a globally distributed team

• Collaborative and a team player

Good to Have:

• Autosys

• PowerCenter

• Shell scripting & Uniq commands

• CRD Experience

Note :

• The client is now specifically looking for candidates from the FinTech domain, preferably with investment/asset management experience and 5-10 years of overall experience.

• If not 5-10 years, at least a couple of years in an investment institution is required.

• Both of our candidates were submitted to the end client and got rejected because of not having financial background...

• Need more ASAP.

• Both locations are open again

NOTE - There are 2 roles for .NET. one is local to Irvine, CA the other local to Chicago, IL.
